Saturday 5th December - The first of our Christmas trains will take us from London King's Cross, Potters Bar, Stevenage and Peterborough to Chesterfield (for transfers to the spectacular Chatsworth at Christmas event) and Barrow Hill Roundhouse (for festive fun of a railway nature, which you won't want to miss!). GBRf will take charge today, with specific traction to be confirmed in due course. We expect this tour to go on sale this month and will feature First Class Dining along with Standard and First Class Non Dining accommodation.

Saturday 12th December - Our second seasonal offering takes us from London Euston, Watford Junction, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Rugby and Nuneaton to Ludlow for a traditional UK Railtours Carol Service at the beautiful St Lawrence's Church. You could also choose to leave the train at Shrewsbury for some Christmas shopping, Leominster for the Victorian Street Market, or Hereford for an afternoon at leisure. This tour is operated by DB Cargo, with Class 67 traction. Again, we expect this tour to go on sale this month and will feature First Class Dining along with Standard and First Class Non Dining accommodation.

Plans for this are well progressed, but we are going to play our cards close to our chest for just a little while longer. Our preferred dates of operation are Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th December, but should route availability dictate, we may run on Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th December instead.
